LA Metro, Riverside Transit Agency, SEPTA and many more join Google Transit

June and early July have seen many new agencies participate in Google Transit.

Here are all the newly launched Google Transit Partners.  Most of these are large systems.

Northern Californa Capitol Corridor
Los Angeles Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (California)
Metro Rock Island County Metropolitan Mass Transit District in Rock Island County (Illinois)

Europe
MZK in Zielona Góra, Poland

Following June, a lot more people around the world now have a tool help them more easily understand and use transit systems.  Everytime a major agency launches on Google Transit, there is a burst of corresponding excited messages on Twitter.  See the search for “google transit” in twitter and check it out.

    Aaron, thanks for the update. I’d like to see a table of U.S. transit agencies by ridership and whether they’re on Google Transit – do you know if this has been done?

    Join the Los Angeles wants Google Transit Facebook group, and they have the top 25 agencies and relevant Google Transit info on their front page.
